Readers and Commentators

Those who have received the Sacrament of Confirmation, are in good standing in the Church and are interested in joining this roster, are asked to contact the Parish Secretary, who will arrange initial training and assign you to a rostered team. Readers receive a copy of the relevant readings prior to the rostered dates.

Welcomers

Friendly faces, to greet parishioners arriving for Mass and to hand out the weekly newsletter, are a great asset to the Parish. Contact the Parish Secretary.

Altar Servers

Children who have received the Sacrament of Confirmation and First Eucharist are able to serve at Sunday Masses. Training is given during school time. Children who wish to serve but do not attend our parish school please contact Father direct.

Adult servers are required for 9.00 am weekday masses.

Music

Musicians and vocalists are always eagerly welcomed to join our small but vibrant band of players who do much for our Parish worship.
If this sounds like you, email peter.chanel@xtra.co.nz or approach the musicians after mass.

RCIA

Rite of Christian Initiation of adults

Those adults seeking to enquire about or become members of our Catholic community are warmly invited/encouraged to contact the Parish Secretary for further details of this course. It is run annually and concludes at Easter.

Reflection

If you feel that nothing makes sense and you are confused? – God has the answer!

When things are going well and you have much to be thankful for? – God has blessed you!

Remember wherever you are or whatever you are feeling – God Knows!!
